These premium stair treads add a warm look to the home while protecting wood from scratches, dirt and wear. Our Stair Tread Sets include 13 treads with FREE pad glued to the back of each tread. Each tread is serged with color matching yarn. Easy do-it-yourself installation. Please ensure Stair Treads are secure on your stairs. While the rubber pad does do a decent job of holding the treads in place, Rug Depot recommends using 9/16" staples from an electric staple gun for installation. If a staple gun is not owned, they can be rented from most chain hardware stores.

Excellent quality

The treads look great on the stairs and are very well made. They have a rubber backing on them but they still would move a little so we put a small strip of carpet tape on them and that did the trick.

I never write reviews but I am taking the time to inform Amazon shoppers of the excellent customer service I received from Rug Depot. Online shopping does not usually incorporate individual customer support. I had decided to add an accompanying stairwell carpet landing that was contrasting and balancing. I contacted Rug Depot and their supervisor went above and beyond and referred me to other selections. The carpet rug treads are of exceptional quality and the assistance from the company has me writing my first review. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
