Colors are a bit off from picture...

The other review about the picture not matching is correct, but I decided to take a chance because I liked the pattern, and the room that it was going in had a lot of neutral colors in it -- so I figured it would like work out fine. I was right. The colors are all lighter in person than the picture -- especially the darks. The color that looks like a dark chocolate is actually closer to milk chocolate, etc.I do like the rug. Looks good in my house. The cat seems to like it, too. Scratches it all the time and it's not holding up well under the abuse - hence the 4 stars. But, it's pretty cheap, so can't knock it down too much.

Colors are totally off in picture shown

I got this rug just now, and when I laid it out on the floor I am COMPLETELY disappointed! The colors are totally off in the picture compared to the actual rug. This doesn't match ANY room in my house now, and I live in Alaska so it would be a complete hassle to try and return this thing. What a waist of money. The only reason I am writing this review is because right after I saw the colors, I hopped online to check out the picture on Amazon, because I didn't remember ordering a rug this color!

Area rug

The rug arrived very quickly. It is good quality. Needs to be vacuumed frequently due to the lint caused by walking on it. The colors are not exactly what is advertised. The dark brown, almost black, tree in the picture is actually a medium brown and the offwhite, almost grey, background is actually tan.
