The color is exactly what you see in this picture, it's durable and almost appears to be a bit stain resistant. It is holding up well after almost a year of use (I'm late on my review). It is exactly as it was presented.

It makes a great place for the toddlers to gather for group time or a story! No tassels or loops for them to pull on, which is nice. Had a lot of creases when it arrived from being smushed during shipping. Took a couple weeks to get them all out.
